PIN-C
Participatory Innovation Conference
PIN-C was established by the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), with the goal of creating a truly interdisciplinary forum for innovation research. The trademark of the conference is that it brings together research disciplines that otherwise only seldom meet in dedicated tracks throughout the conference. And that it does so in an active, participatory format.
The first Participatory Innovation conference was held in Sønderborg, Denmark in 2011. Subsequent editions of PIN-C were co-organised with international collaborators. PIN-C 2012 was hosted by Swinburne University of Technology, Faculty of Design, in Melbourne, Australia. Then Lappeenranta University of Technology in Lahti, Finland, hosted PIN-C 2013, and The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands held PINC-2015. In 2018, PIN-C will return to Scandinavia at Mälardalen University, Eskilstuna, Sweden.
